Commercial-Scale Production Plant

  • Total capacity of 96m3 (25,500 gallons) with glass-lined, Hastelloy® and stainless steel reactors from 1200 L to 16,000 L (300 to 4,000 gallons), Hastelloy® centrifuge, and Hastelloy® filter dryers.
 
  • Azide-compatible production with 6,000 L to 15,000 L (1,500 to 4,000 gallon) reactors
 
  • Three Class 100,000 solids packaging areas with 3m2 Hastelloy® Comber® (32.3 ft2) filter dryer, 4m2 (43 ft2) Hastelloy® 3V-Cogeim® filter dryer, Krauss Maffie® 3m3 (106 ft3) Hastelloy® cone dryer, and a stainless steel Quadro Co-mill.
 
  • Two glass-lined reactors at 8,000 L (2,000 gallons) capable of perform phosgenations.
 
  • Hastelloy® C-276 reactor at 6,000 L (1,500 gallons) capable of performing hydrogenations up to 20 bar (300 PSIA).
 
  • Facility is controlled by a state of the art Foxboro I/A Series DCS with four operator workstations and an engineering workstation.
